Description
Vtg PAIR Peter HVIDT Selig DANISH MODERN Lounge Chairs Stylish CLASSIC FORM All NEW Upholstery & Foam This tasty pair of stylish Danish Modern lounge chairs with sculpted DART backs were designed by Peter Hvidt for Selig and date to the 1960s. Constructed of solid walnut stained Beech, with all new upholstery and foam and are ready for use right out of the box. The upholstery is a near match to the original, a sand colored textured woven wool. Sculptural ow profile, very comfortable sit, the perfect chair for your mid-century modernist Atomic Ranch home. One chair marked Made in Denmark, and imported into the US by Selig. Measuring approx 30" wide, 30" deep, 28" tall, and seat height approx 16". QUOTED SHIPPING, two parcels at $210 total, via Greyhound Package Express and will require your picking up the parcel at your nearest GPX office. Please view www.shipgreyhound.com for cities served and your nearest GPX counter. Shipping direct to your door can be arranged via FedEX Ground at an approx cost of $400. Fresh from a fine old Denver estate, and offered with No Reserve. Condition of the wood frames are solid with no loose joints, clean with light and minor surface scuffing from light use. There is light water staining to the bottom of the feet, not a detraction and can be seen on close examination. Have a look at my other auctions, I'll happily combine shipping for multiple auction wins. Pictures, shipping costs, and after auction information follow. Bid with Confidence, Satisfaction is GUARANTEED! Happy hunting, Clark! Thanks for your bids, and Please Remember. I prefer Paypal, however I will gladly accept Money Orders and Personal Checks (which I occassionally hold for 5-7 days before shipping an item). I cannot accept direct credit card payments. Insurance is optional, if you wish to add insurance please wait for my revised invoice which will include an insurance option. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. Please contact me with any problem or concerns. I'm easy to deal with and will make it right if need be. Please have a look at my other auctions and bid on several items, I will happily combine items to reduce your shipping costs. It's just me, a crazy collector sitting in a basement selling to fellow collectors and not Amazon. So please be patient if I don't answer your e-mail immediately. I'm likely out hunting auctions or estate sales, busy with other work tasks, or enjoying a day off. SHIPPING COSTS - Shipping is NOT a profit center for me, my quoted flat rates for shipping covers only a portion of the actual shipping costs. I quote a flat rate shipping amount for one reason only, so you the buyer knows upfront what their total cost will be with no surprises at auction end. In other words, if my Widget A strikes your fancy to the tune of $50, and the quoted shipping is $9, then you know your maximum bid should be $41. Pretty simple really. Everything about shipping is costly. USPS, FedEX, and UPS set the rates, I cannot change them, and like the price of gasoline they are increasing regularly. To make sure your item arrives safely and without damage means costly packing materials. I pack professionally, using high quality materials, and choose the fastest and lowest cost service to get your item to you safely and ASAP. The biggest variable in shipping rates are the new DIM (dimensional) rates all of the carriers have adopted. Which can turn a lightweight but large DIM weight item into a featherweight big parcel with a big surcharge equal to the postage on a 40 pound parcel. Basically, I use: USPS Priority Mail for smaller items, USPS Parcel Post for larger and heavier items, USPS Media Mail when appropriate, FedEX Ground for items with a DIM weight in excess of 130 cubic inches, and Greyhound Express for most furniture items. Because of a high number of damaged items, and their refusal to pay more than $100 when an insurance claim is filed, I will not use UPS under any circumstances. You will receive an e-mail the day I ship your item, usually within 72 of receiving your payment. Parcel Post and FedEX Ground delivery times are 3-9 business days. So please allow extra time for delivery is you are accustomed to the quick 1-3 day Priority Mail schedule. This means, from the day your payment was sent, if you pay via PayPal please allow 2 weeks for delivery, for Money Orders please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery, and for items paid via check (because of check holds) allow 3 weeks for delivery. Add an extra week to these times for Media Mail items. If you need expedited delivery, please contact me at auction end, and I'll send a revised invoice with the quickest service total. Please feel free to e-mail or phone if your item is tardy. And kindly refrain from daily e-mail's asking about shipping status. Answering these actually slows shipping down as it takes up the work time I could actually use to pack and ship the item. Please click the view seller's other items link to see my other auctions. Colorado Residents add 7.65% sales tax to purchase price. If you happen to live in Denver and want to pick up your items, e-mail or call to set up a time. Created by eBay Blackthorne ver. 3.2.119.0
