One design after another becomes some of the most sought after Luxury Goods ever made. Two launches took place in 2007 and 2008. The first was at the MOCA Museum in Los Angeles. There the Hands Pattern came out on many bags that were only released in Los Angeles. The VIP gift was a card holder and Murakami Plexiglass Plates. The Brooklyn Museum of Art launched their Murakami Art Show VIP dinner in April 2008. Vuitton launched the Monogramouflage Line, also created by Murakami. Louis Vuitton was represented by Marc Jacobs of course. Kanye was there. Takashi Murakami was there. The seats started at $1,000. The gift was again a card holder and each place setting had an incredible Murakami Placemat. You cannot buy these anywhere. These were only given to the VIP guests at the dinner. These are made out of Plexiglass. They are bright, large. fun and very Murakami! There is one photo with my cel phone next to the placemat to give you an idea of the size (no, the cel phone is not included!). This would certainly be suitable for framing and I intend to do that with mine. Each one of these placemats were under plates. There are a few tiny miniscule marks, no damage. I can't even capture with the camera. Please Note: I do have one more of these. I am leaving it up to the buyer of this one if they wish to own a pair or just one before I list the other one. Some people are framing them and some are using them. This was purchased by a My Poupette Seller from VIP guests of that event.
