The glass is held in place with loads of small prongs. It measures 8" in diameter and 5-1/2" tall. The inside is a gold velvet. There is a bow design on each of the 6 sides and there is the gold velvet lining that shows thru. This box probably dates back to the 50's. I think it was made in NY.
