Description This is a wonderful old antique flue cover.  It is large, measuring over 9 1/2" across.  It is old.  I have collected some but am just keeping the cat ones now.  I have never seen this horse one.  The rim is perfect - old fluted tin, with the original chain firmly attached.  The only damage is that the bottom of the back got wet at one time but this of course doesn't show when hung.  Says Made in Germany.  I think there may be a small water stain on the front at the bottom (have given you a close up) only because of the back. It's where the ground is and doesn't really show unless you look for it because of the overall pattern.  I never saw it until now when I take a magnifying glass to everything.  This is really stunning with great color.  Place a Bid!
