A signed and inscribed dramatic studio photo portrait of the general, probably dating to WWII but signed and inscribed after his retirement. Heavy matte paper. Perfect. A-1672 Eaker: (1896-1989). USAS (1917); Military Aviator (1918); piloted one of the aircraft of the Pan-American Good Will Flight, for which he was awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross (1927); chief pilot of the Army Air Corps Fokker-designed Atlantic C-2A Question Mark in a record-setting endurance flight at Los Angeles Municipal Airport of 150 hours 40 minutes 15 seconds, more than six days, commanded by MAJ Carl Spaatz with LT Elwood Quesada and R. W. Hooe, for which he recieved a Distinguished Service Cross (1929); with LT B. S.
