THE BLADE HAS NEVER BEEN SHARPENED AND HAS ONLY A COUPLE BLEMISHES. THE SHANK IS STAMPED "OTTO DEUTSCH'S HANS ON THE FRONT SIDE, AND "OTTO DEUTSCH& LOHNE" SOLINGEN GERMANY, AND THE LOGO ON THE BACK SIDE. THE TRIPLE PIN BOLSTERS ARE ORIGINAL AND TIGHT. THE TRANSLUCENT GREEN SCALES ARE CENTERED TO THE BLADE AND FREE FROM NICKS, CRACKS, AND WARPING THAT CAUSES PROBLEMS WHEN OPENING AND CLOSING. THERE ARE NICKLE SILVER BOLSTERS THAT FIT FLUSH ON BOTH SIDES. IT'S A FACT NOT VERY KNOWN THAT DEUTSCH WAS ANOTHER TRADEMARK USED BY BRESDUCK, N.Y.1930-1952, THE SAME MANUFACTURERS THAT BRING YOU DUBL DUCK AND BEAU BREMMEL. THAT PROBABLY EXPLAINS WHY THEY ARE SUCH A HIGH QUALITY. THE BOX WITH IT READS 9/16", BUT I KNOW THAT THIS IS A LARGE 5/8". IT'S ENAN LONGER THAN THE OTHER OTTO'S I HAVE. THE SHIPPING IS FREE IN THE 48 CONTINENTAL STATES. Payments are required within 5 days of auctions end. Because of ebays new policy, we accept Paypal and will accept credit cards in the near future.
