Description
Imagine this boiler sitting in front of your antique business!  This is a slab burner Farquhar Steam Boiler and Engine.  The boiler is about 14' long and 3'6" in diameter.  The rear wheels are almost 4' high and the front are 3' high.  The boiler has twenty-seven three inch flues that appear to be in very good condition and the boiler is a butt-strap type unit.  The engine is a Farquhar, but not the original engine to the boiler; however, with a little work can be made to fit.  The flywheels measure 4' and 3'6" in diameter.   The engine is approximately and 8 X 12" bore, stroke.  Overall the unit appears to be in very good condition and just needs a little work to get it going.  We are not experts on such boilers and sell as is with no gurantees.  Such units that are still on wheels are becoming harder and harder to find, so if you have been looking for one, here it is.  Payment must be made within seven days by Cashiers Check, and then the unit can be picked-up at any time in the future.  There is no problem for the unit to sit where it is until the purchaser can make arrangements to get it.  If needed we can help make arrangements for loading, provided you contact us in advance for more information.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
