Description
Description A nice, ca. 1920's, whistle issued by Lancashire Constabulary. This whistle is made from nickel-silver and was manufactured by William Dowler at their Graham Street Works in Birmingham. This whistle is in excellent working condition with no damage or dents but could do with a polish. Postage/Shipping Postage, within the UK only, will be £2.50p for First Class Recorded Delivery. Overseas bidders please email me prior to bidding for an estimate of shipping costs. Please note that postage/shipping costs include the cost of a new padded bag where appropriate or, in the case of parcelled items, a small contribution towards the cost of paper/tape etc. Due to the complexities of the Royal Mail pricing system it can be difficult to quote precise costs until an item is actually packed ready for posting/shipping. However, it is not my policy to profit intentionally from postage/shipping and should a significant difference exist between actual cost and amount charged this will be refunded. Payment I will accept PAYPAL or a sterling cheque drawn on any UK bank. Overseas bidders please note that the only method of payment I am willing to accept is PAYPAL. This is by far the quickest and safest method for both seller and buyer. Payment must be received within a generous 10 days of the end of auction. An invoice will be sent at the end of auction followed by a single reminder within the 10 day period. If payment is not received within the 10 day period the matter will be reported to Ebay and the item relisted.
