The wonderful letter we offer is the result of a very historic month or so for the young Prince Edward. On June 10th, Edward celebrated his investiture as a Knight of the Garter at Windsor Castle. On June 22nd.. the ancient and dramatic coronation of his father as George V, King-Emperor. Finally, on July13th, the investiture of Prince Edward as Prince of Wales. The letter, written to SIr Alfred Scott-Gatty, Garter King of Arms, is a grateful note for  all of the help received during the recent functions.
