You are bidding on two items in this auction. The first is the original cover pencils done by the legendary JACK KIRBY. To find Kirby pencil pages is pretty much a rarity to find Kirby cover pencils - well good luck on that one because there are so few in existence. The second item is the published lightboxed inks done by Greg Theakston. It took me ten years to unite these two pieces and I know I've said it before but in all my years of collecting I've never seen a Kirby pencil cover and the companion lightboxed inks offered together. Both pieces are done on standard sized artboard 11 x 17. So just to reiterate... you are getting the finished cover pencils and the published lightboxed inks - 2 pieces for the price of one. Also, in the past some people may have tried to pass off the lightboxed inks as the pencils and inks but as you can see here - they are two separate pieces and are being offered together for sale for the first time.
