Very good in condition with no cracks or chips. Highly reccomended work. It is enclosed with signed and stamped original wooden box. Koich Tamura was born in 1918 in Tochigi prefecture. In 1946, he started to study from Kenkichi Tomimoto, designated Living National Treasure and knowns as a master of polychrome glazing on porcelain. He produced many master pieces of iron glazed works and was designated Living National Treasrure for iron glazing techniques in 1986. He passed away in 1987.
