Persian dagger, with gold inlaid ornament, silver fittings with nielo, late XVII - early XIX cc. The blade has two deep grooves in the middle on both sides. Gold decoration on the blade and maker's mark. Wooden scabbard is covered with red fabric (partially lost) and is original to this dagger (the tip is missing). The fittings are made of silver. The grip is wrapped with silver wire. Full length is 20 inches, blade is 14 inches.
