In poker tournaments, each round specifies a blind and/or ante that must be put into the pot to start the action.  Poker blinds and/or antes increase at regular intervals.  This timer will help you signal when each round ends.  It also doubles as the dealer button, which shows who has to put in the blinds. Using this dealer button in a tournament setting, players hear an audible alarm at the one-minute warning, and again to signify the end of the round.
