It was collected by Professor Lowell Laudon in the 1930's. His collection was recently aquired and a few of these pieces will be sold on the EBay. This piece has the species, Platycrinites, Rhodocrinus, Dichocrinus, Cactocrinus, Abatocrinus and a few others? Whats really interesting about this locality is the different colors of calcite that have replaced the different crinoid species. It has been decades since this material has been collected and this material is fantastic, especially this one. There are 26 crinoids on this piece including the partials on the edge. The matrix is a light yellow siltstone and it measures 12 x 5 5/8 inches and 2 inches thick.
