The gorgeous box contains a missal, a dance card (carnet du bail in French) a coin purse and a carved rosary, all made of faux ivory with silver, bronze and mother of pearl inlays.  ROSARY The rosary is in perfect condition. Some beads are bigger and carved depicting flowers. The central medal is heart shaped featuring Immaculate conception. The pictures don't show its beauty. No missing or broken beads. Total measure: 12.25" aprox BOOK: The missal was printed in Paris (not dated) with gorgeous inlays featuring leaves and flowers in silver, bronze and mother of pearl. It has the original  claps. It has 215 gold trimmed pages  written in Spanish. No missing pages, excellent binding. No cracks or restorations.   Measure: 6.2" x 3.5" aprox DANCE CARD: The dance card is is gorgeous too, with a similar works like the book and the original pencil. Inside there is a  "page" made of faux ivory too. In the new social context the 'Dance cards' were used by ladies to keep track of the gentleman to whom they had promised dances in the course of the evening. The ladies used a pencil for writing over the ivory pages. Inside there is two pockets for keeping the money or the ladies personal cards.  Measure: 4.15" x 2.75" aprox COIN PURSE The coin purse has the same design, it closes an opens perfectly. It has many pockets and one at center with metal clasp.
