ZANUSO SOFA EAMES-KNOLL-PONTI ERA' Description Hard to find in the States, the Trienelle sofa of 1952 as a curved 3-seater plus single chair.  This is a rare curved Marco Zanuso piece, plus a single side chair which makes a complete 4-seater sofa.  It has its original upholstery so it would need to be redone with the upholstery of your choice.  This is an easy redo, although, the foam is not hard.  You may be able to use the same foam, unsure.  It's just foam over the metal frame - no wood anywhere in the body of the sofa.  All of the rubber glides are there and the legs are satin brass.  There are two small settees of this same model both 48 inches long each for $9,800 on 1stdibs right now.  This incredible curved piece would be if you put the two settees together and added a curve where they meet. The dimensions are: 24 inches wide for the single chair 48 inches from one side of the sofa to the middle section center of the curve.  48 inches to the other curve.  With the side chair against the sofa, it becomes 72 inches long on one side. The back is 32 inches high. This is a very, very comfortable sofa piece with a high back.  A slightly larger one (one extra seat) went for $9,500 at Wright this year.  It was redone with piping everywhere which was wrong but it still bought that price.  My price is a steal.  Ask any questions, etc.  See my other auctions for another very rare Zanuso sofa, plus a rare pair of jetliner French lounge chairs.  Thanks.
