The bike had a trick suspension system and a wildly styled front fork.. This would be Evinrude's first and last attempt at an entry into the bicycle market. Unfortunately, it was not a safe bike and it was recalled .The bicycle was a failure, the aluminum forks regularly broke. Few bicycles were not returned for a refund and even fewer survive without a fork that has been welded back together! This bike was restored about 8 years ago from an unbroken original. There are a few flaws that I would like to point out. The color is a shade or two lighter than the original, the repop speedometer decal is flaking,the rear reflector may be a repop, there is a slight crack in the paint near the screw hole on the front fender. That said this is a beautiful very, very rare bike restored from an almost complete original. It is all aluminum including the fenders. This would be the shinning star in most balloon tire bike collectors collection. These do not come up for sale often. buyer must be responsible for picking up or shipping of this item.
