Fabulous first casting detail shows toes w toenails, nose w nostrils.. intaglio eyes, lots of fur.... 9.5" tall 17" long.... marked J B 2591.. no breaks, cracks... ...I lightly cleaned it with a very gentle silver polish. The reddish finish you see in the pics is old lacquer that protected the silver.. It's such a rare valuable dog it's well worth having a silversmith professionally clean it and touch up the seams...
