The Blue Cat/20th Century CollectiblesWelcome to Yesterday Deco Manhattan Style Chrome Tray with Glass Inserts You are bidding on a wonderful, vintage 1930's, ultra deco chrome stepped tray with four ribbed angular glass inserts. Two are cobalt blue, and two are crystal clear. This tray came onto the market shortly after the Revere cocktail set appeared on the market, back in the 1930's, with a smaller tray that was the same style, but had no inserts, as it was made just for the deco Revere Manhattan cocktail set. This tray is larger than the Revere tray. It measures 15-5/8 inches by 11-1/2 inches, and these inserts were made to fit only this larger tray. This chrome tray is in beautiful condition, showing only light signs of age or use. It has no dings or dents and only a couple of spots where the chrome shows wear. The four angular glass inserts are all in beautiful original condition, showing no chips, fleabites or damage. This set will be a real eyecatcher to use when entertaining those special guests, and is a wonderful reflection of those deco years in our American past.
