It is named Crotalocephalina or Crotalocephalus. The most diagnostic features of this taxon are the sharp pleural and pygidial spines and the distinctive cephalon. The fossil measures approx  3 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 3 inches tall. Excellent prep work on this trilobite. (spectacular) It shows a dark brown to black surface.
