Start Price USD 875.00 Current Price USD 875.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, October 23, 2008 End Time Saturday, November 22, 2008 Location Des Moines, IA See more about 'Crams Railway System Atlas Railroad Map Antique Train' Description IPWTroy73 Store Cram's Railway System Atlas Railroad Map Antique Train Offered in this sale is the Cram's Standard American Railway System Atlas from 1902.   This is The Credit Co.'s Edition as stated on the front.   Overall the pages are tight to the binding.  The front and back covers are connected, but need to be handled carefully and are starting to pull away.  The outside blue covering is torn on both sides.  It not through the binding, just the blue outside as shown in the pictures.  Now to the inside!  The maps are all intact and look great!  They are clear and the colors are sharp.  The map of Iowa has some creasing.   I could not believe how well this has been taken care of for the last 106 years.   I am not a book expert.  I am doing the best I can to describe this item.  I want to be accurate, so I have I included all the negatives, but overall this is in EXCELLENT condition inside.   I have taken 24 pictures to give you as much detail as  I can as to the condition of this item.  There are a total of 614 pages in this edition.    This is far more than other Cram's Railway editions.   I don't know a lot about Cram's railway atlases other than  what I learned from my father.   He has never seen this edition in all his years of collecting railroad maps.  He has several other Cram's editions.   I offered him this as a gift, but he declined.  He is getting up there in years and has "retired" from collecting at the request of my mother!  I don't have a great idea on value, but  I feel I have priced this to sell quickly.  I would like to move it in time for the holiday gift buying season which is coming soon!   Thank you for your interest and I will do my best to answer any questions.    I am including FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING IN THE PRICE IN USA (Alaska, Hawaii, and international shipping will be extra)  International ShippingOut of the United States will cost more.
