Description
I am offering three paper items from Flandreau, South Dakota. 1) A double wide postcard of Riggs Institute (now known as the Flandreau Indian School) 3 1/2 x 11 inches) folded in the middle. The bridge connects the town of Flandreau to the school. It is in fair to good condition with some wear on the corners, a crease lower left, a notch on the right side, and some peeling on the backside. 2) A post card with a 1913 post mark (3 3/8 x 5 3/8) of several churches in Flandreau--upper left corner is damaged--basically black and white but blue tinting of the sky has been done. Card addressed to Miss E Wilson in Mitchell, SD signed by A L Wilson 3) A register letter receipt postally stamped in Flandreau on Feb 16, 1884 Moody County Dakota. It was sent by John Pence in Rock, Iowa to H T La Tanway in Flandreau. Condition is good with a little wear on the corners, it is 2 7/8 x 5 inches (printing on both sides). Shipping cost will be free in USA, check out my other auctions as I will discount shipping cost for multiple purchases. Thanks for looking//bob
