The lampshade is made of sheet metal lacquered sage, with a texturised finish and a decorative chrome brace. Its inside has been lacquered white for light reflection. The heavy base is made of cast iron with a sheet metal cover lacquered sage, with the same texturised finish. The stem is made of a two curved chrome rods linked by a chrome butterfly screw. It is therefore possible to adjust the angle of the lampshade. There are two springs fixed to both rods (please see pictures) at each end and a further screw between the lampshade and the stem to allow for further adjustment. The original black plastic switch is placed on the base.  The lamp is in very good condition, apart from the lampshade being a little loose. It is in full working order and takes one Edison screw (screwfit) bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.   Please note: We specialise in selling vintage items.
