This is a Vintage "Central Station Firehouse" dome lunchbox with thermos that is in very good condition. This is marked American Thermos Industries dated 1959 on the right side of the box and on the thermos. The lunchbox is in very good condition and this is grading is conservatively. The colors are bright and the box is shiny. There are light small scratches on the upper dome in the front and rear. The bottom of the box, often all worn off still looks good and legible. The latches and handle hardware has corrosion as seen in the photos. The bottom edges of the box have wear and rusting too in some areas. The thermos has "crazing" all around where you can feel it but still looks good and is colorful with nice paint. This has red cap and cork stopper. The glass liner is still in good shape with no thermos rattle. Overall, this Central Station Firehouse dome is in great shape for it's age and will make a wonderful addition to your Vintage Lunch Box Collection!!
