This is a very nice folder bound original architectural proposal for a new Shillitos Department Store to be located in Hamilton, Ohio.  The proposal is dated 1947 and is from the architectural firm Harold N. Hermann Associates of Cincinnati, Ohio to Fred Lazarus, Jr. of Federated Deartment Stores.  Apparently, the project got nixed somewhere along the line, as the store was never built. The proposal includes 18 pages of text and 22 various schematic plans representing possible store layouts and ammenities at 8.5" x 11" sheets and larger fold-out budget and pricing analysis sheets.  All pages are in excellent condition.  Truly unique piece of forgotten history.
