This is a wonderful well preserved copy of this VERY hard-to-find classic The Gun Club Drink  Book by Charles Browne; The illustrations are by the world famous Leonard Holton published by Charles Scribner’s Sons New York and London ; 1939 SCRIBNER’S A FIRST ISSUE FIRST EDITION, red/black and white letters with art from Leonard Holton ; the boards are in great condition with just a little wear around the edges; tight spine; bottom corners gently bumped; no foxing; text block clean, tight, and square; pages lightly tanned; it has a very nice owners sticker on the first inside page that says from the library of R. Gerald Schoelkopf; the book comes with its original dust jacket that is in wonderful condition with a piece about 1”x 1” missing at the top of the spine end and a ½” piece missing at the bottom of the spine cover; this book is filled with delicious cocktails and wonderful illustrations.
