1938 ZENITH 12S267 "SHUTTERDIAL" Console Tube Radio FREE PACKING, You Pay Only the Ship Costs Start Price USD 1,595.00 Current Price USD 1,595.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, August 20, 2008 End Time Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Location Worcester, MA See more about '1938 ZENITH 12S267 "SHUTTERDIAL" Console Tube Radio' Description Another Vintage RadioOffering From OldRadioCrazyZENITH 12S267 "SHUTTERDIAL" Console Tube Radio**FREE PACKING** I am pleased to offer this fine 1938 Zenith 12S267 Console tube radio in this Buy It Now auction.  The measurements on this radio are 43x26.5x15" and weighing about 85 lbs.  The size is somewhat smaller than most other 12 tube consoles of this year.The cabinet is in excellent condition.  It has been correctly restored with very nice tone and finish.  The restoration was so well done, it is difficult to distinguish between my all original 12S267 and this one.  The cabinet is tight with all veneer present and intact with the exception of one small sliver of the left side, rear.  There are several other small blemishes, but the overall condition is fantastic.  The grill cloth is a reproduction.    The 5-knob wooden set is original and in excellent condition.  The knobs are free of chips and the set screws work fine.  The 12-tube chassis has been thoroughly cleaned and is free of rust and corrosion.  The chassis is untested and sold as not working.  The dial face is perfect with no imperfections to the white lettering or black back paint. The shutterdial operates smoothly with all shutters functioning. The speaker cone is fully intact and the acoustic adapter  is free of all dents and abrasions. If you have been looking for that special Zenith "Shutterdial" console...Buy It Now...
