This all glass candy container can be found referenced in "The Compleat AMERICAN CLASS CANDY CONTAINERS Handbook" by George Eikelberner and Serge Agadjanian as "324. HOUSE - "ALL GLASS". This container is all glass, clear, pressed; 2 3/4" by 2 1/8" base, and 2 3/8" high; open base. Fireplace at left end, central door flanked by a single window on each side in front, and steps up to the front door. Painted red roof and gable ends, foundation red as well. closure is a slide on the back to front tin strip painted green. Chimney height even with roof- overall height at this point 2 3/8". This container is in great condition with no apparent chips and only age wear to paint. This would make a great addition to your collection or an excellent gift for someone.
