dynamiteitemsbytnt Store                 *Raccoon* Wall Art*Print*Picture*Home Wildlife Decor* Description *Raccoon* Wall Art*Print*Picture*Home Wildlife Decor* This Unique Print is the work of the talented Artist Michael Woodring. We at Dynamite Items by T~N~T are both very honored and proud to be selling one of Mike Woodring unique ink prints. We find this particular print interesting because it looks as if you can actually see the personality in the raccoons eyes. We can not say enough about the detail that went into this piece of art. The eyes are truly unique. This print is numbered 351/500. The print is 14" x 11  3/8".  This Print is unframed. We feel this the better option for the buyer. You can frame and mat to compliment your own decor style and color. The price is reasonable!  This print will look wonderful in any home...cabin decor...restaurant...or pub! "Michael Woodring, a native of Harborcreek, PA inherited his gift for drawing from his father, Stanley L. Woodring whose work has been displayed in the Smithsonian. While Stanley was alive, Mike felt his talent overshadowed by his father's work, but after Stanley's death, Mike's creativity exploded and he started drawing up a storm. Animals and their surroundings are what inspire Mike to create his intricate ink drawings. He believes that an important part of capturing an animal's personality lies in focusing on its eyes, and in having respect for the sights, sounds, and smells of the environment in which it lives. These beliefs are readily apparent throughout his work. Mike's tool of choice is a Pilot ball point pen. Early on, during a creative burst, he needed something to draw with but all that was available was a pencil stub and about twenty pens. Instead of cramping his hand with the pencil stub, he used a pen, and continues to use one today. About ten years ago, he started adding watercolor very sparingly to his drawings to enhance them. Mike has lived and sold works in Arizona, Ohio, and Oregon, as well as Pennsylvania, and participated in art shows across the country until about ten years ago. Today he resides in Cambridge Springs."  (Submitted by Susan Mamula) Another interesting fact the buyer should know is that Michael Woodring signs his work under his family's original name of Vautrim. During this Holiday Season We at Dynamite Items know the importance of keeping costs low. This Print will make an excellent gift for a family member, friend or as a special treat to yourself!
