Description
***Rose Quartz Crystal*** ((( Rosy Pink Spheres ))) ~With Calcite & Lepidocrocite~     Rio Grande do Sul "Brazil" 2-5/8 " x 1-5/8" inches wide x 1-1/4" inches tall 63 Grams   These spherical rose quartz crystals are a completely natural sculptural formation and along with a handful of mostly single floaters were found inside a geode in Rio Grande do Sul which is on the southern tip of Brazil.  The spheres are made up of literally hundreds of fully formed light pale pink rose quartz terminations and consist of two connected partial spheres that measure approximately 1-1/4" inches diameter each and one of those has another complete sphere on top.  The top rosy sphere measures about 1' inch in diameter and features a small secondary cluster on the side that looks like a sparkling little crystalline flower.  There's another small seperate cluster off to the side of the other partial sphere which also has a few gemmy clear calcite crystals sprouting on top with a bed of contrasting opaque white calcites deposited along the backside.  The spheres are a very sparkly shade of gemmy light pink all the way around however one half of the formation is heavily included with miniscule streaks and dots of bright red lepidocrocite that gives it a hot pink coloration. Fully formed complete terminations on rose quartz crystals are an ultra rarity as most rose quartz crystals tend to be rather abstract in formation and structure due to the presence of magnesium which tends to inhibit the growth of sharp well defined termination points.   Although these spheres are made up of tiny rose quartz crystals they are indeed fully formed typical quartz terminations which places them in a very uncommon category and in combination with the secondary formation of completely natural spheres puts this phenomenal little jewel among the rarest one of a kind crystals in the world.   Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
